We’ve got a story to tell – a tale of resilience, a touch of chaos, and, most importantly, an exciting leap forward.

What Happened?

Recently, we faced an unprecedented challenge. Despite adhering to Google Cloud’s terms and policies, we were blindsided by a sudden suspension notice. Without warning, our entire infrastructure went offline – every single server.

As a free hosting provider, we’re proud to support users who need accessible solutions. However, with this openness comes risks. One of our free-tier users attempted to host a phishing site – not targeting us, but as part of an external scam. Our automated systems detected and removed the malicious content within 15 minutes, as per our protocols.

Despite our swift action, Google decided to take down our entire infrastructure, leaving us and our users offline for 24 hours.

Over the next 24 hours, we fought to resolve the situation. We opened multiple tickets, sent dozens of messages, and waited hours for replies – even with a premium subscription. At one point, we were accused of hosting crypto miners (which is categorically false). After relentless back-and-forth, Google finally restored our services, dismissing it all as a “phishing site” issue. No apologies. No compensation. Just silence.

A Message to Our Incredible Clients

To show our gratitude, we’ve offered all impacted users:

  • A free month for those on monthly subscriptions.
  • Six additional months for annual subscribers.

What We’re Doing to Prevent This in the Future

This incident was a turning point for us, and we’re taking decisive action to ensure such disruptions never happen again. Here’s our detailed action plan:

  1. Global Infrastructure Diversification
    We’re moving away from reliance on a single provider like Google Cloud. Instead, we’ll distribute our infrastructure across independent, world-class data centers. This diversification ensures resilience and independence.
  2. Autonomous Operations in Data Centers
    Each server will function autonomously within its own data center. No single provider will have the ability to affect all operations at once.
  3. High-Availability Client Area
    Our Client Area will shift to a High Availability (HA) model, reducing reliance on any single server. This will maximize uptime and ensure seamless access even during unforeseen events.
  4. IP Segmentation
    We’re restructuring IP allocations so that each service operates on independently managed IPs. This segmentation ensures that issues with one IP won’t affect the rest of our infrastructure.
  5. Redundant Nameservers
    To enhance stability, we’re implementing a dual nameserver system across separate data centers. If one nameserver encounters an issue, the second will continue operating without interruption.

These upgrades will roll out within the next 30 days, fortifying your hosting experience against external disruptions.
